REJA Initiative is recruiting a detail-oriented and tech-savvy professional to join its team as an IT & Data Officer in Abuja.

The position combines data collection, database management and digital systems support and is suitable for candidates with backgrounds in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Information Management, Social Sciences and related fields.

About REJA Initiative

REJA Initiative uses digital systems and data to support its programmes and organisational activities. The IT & Data Officer will help ensure that programme information is properly collected, entered, managed and reviewed across the organisation’s digital platforms.

The successful candidate will also support field-level data collection and work with REJA’s mobile applications and databases to maintain accurate and reliable information for programme activities, analysis and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Input and update data entries on REJA’s mobile applications.
• Ensure information entered into the organisation’s systems is complete and accurate.
• Submit and update information within required timelines.
• Conduct field-level data collection.
• Ensure information gathered from programme activities is properly documented.
• Regularly review data entered into the mobile application and other databases.
• Identify errors and inconsistencies in collected or entered information.
• Identify missing information and duplicate entries.
• Support the organisation’s digital systems, data collection, management, analysis and reporting activities.

Requirements

Applicants should have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Information Management, Social Sciences or a related field.
• Experience in data collection, data entry, database management, IT support or a related role.
• Strong computer skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant data-management tools.
• Strong attention to detail.
• High level of accuracy in data entry and management.
• Good analytical and organisational skills.
• Confidence working with digital platforms and technology-based systems.
