1. Junior Programme Associate

The Junior Programme Associate will support and lead research, innovation and development projects while contributing to project delivery, stakeholder engagement, team development and business development activities.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree in Medicine, Public Health, Statistics, Economics, International Development or related field
  • 3–5 years of relevant post-national service experience
  • Relevant experience in public health consulting, global health or health-related research
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience working with government is desirable
  • French or Portuguese is an added advantage

2. Junior Programme Associate – Emergency Medicine

This position focuses on strengthening emergency medical services and ambulance systems.

The successful candidate will support government partners with emergency medical systems, computer-aided dispatch implementation, emergency preparedness, mass casualty planning, facility assessments, referral pathways and other emergency-care projects.

Candidates should have relevant professional and academic experience suited to emergency medicine, public health and programme implementation.

3. Junior Programme Associate – Product Management

This role focuses on technology and product-related projects within CMS.

The successful candidate will contribute to the development and implementation of technology-enabled solutions while supporting product management, programme delivery and collaboration with relevant stakeholders.

Applicants should have relevant experience and an interest in using technology to solve practical health and development challenges.

4. Programme Associate

The Programme Associate is a more experienced role responsible for leading projects, managing teams and stakeholders, developing new business opportunities and supporting CMS’s portfolio across sub-Saharan Africa.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree in Public Health, Public Policy, Statistics, Economics, International Development or related discipline
  • Around 7 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in public health consulting, project management, global health or health-related research
  • Experience working with government
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience leading diverse teams
  • French or Portuguese is an added advantage

5. Project Officer

The Project Officer position is available across multiple locations in Nigeria.

The role supports the implementation, coordination and monitoring of CMS projects and programmes. Candidates should be comfortable working with different teams and stakeholders and supporting the delivery of project activities.

6. Finance Officer

The Finance Officer will support CMS’s day-to-day accounting and financial management across multiple projects and programmes.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining financial records

  • Monitoring expenditure against budgets
  • Supporting budgeting and forecasting
  • Assisting with audits
  • Supporting payroll, tax and pension obligations
  • Ensuring compliance with financial policies and project requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related discipline
  • At least 3 years of relevant accounting or finance experience
  • Strong attention to detail and financial accountability
  • Good Microsoft Office skills
  • ICAN, ACCA, ANAN or progress towards a professional qualification is an advantage
  • Project accounting or donor/grant-funded experience is an advantage

7. Internal Auditor / Audit Officer

The Internal Auditor/Audit Officer will support CMS in strengthening financial controls, compliance, risk management and accountability.

The position is based in Abuja. Applicants should have relevant audit, accounting, finance or risk-related qualifications and professional experience.

8. Project Support Person – Chief Operations Officer

This position will provide administrative, analytical, coordination and operational support directly to the Chief Operations Officer.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing meetings, calendars, travel and correspondence
  • Preparing reports, presentations and briefing notes
  • Tracking management decisions, deadlines and action points
  • Coordinating activities across departments and projects
  • Monitoring project milestones and operational deadlines
  • Maintaining dashboards, trackers and KPIs
  • Conducting research and analysis
  • Supporting leadership meetings

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Public Administration, Development Studies, Social Sciences, Health Administration or related field
  • Up to 5 years of relevant professional experience
  • Experience in operations, executive support, project coordination, consulting or programme management
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • French or Portuguese is an added advantage
