The Role

Own our communications strategy and digital presence, and use it to drive membership, partnerships and funding. Part strategist, part executor.

As a Remote Communications & Partnerships Officer as Africana League, You will

• Run communications strategy and social media across YouTube, Instagram and X
• Plan digital campaigns that grow membership and app users
• Write partner-facing materials and donor updates
• Support partnership outreach
• Recruit and manage the Africana League online community
• Report monthly on growth and results

Should have

• 3+ years in communications, digital marketing or strategy
• Passion for supporting and developing youth movements and youth based platforms
• Experience in the development sector, NGOs or civic work
• Partnership communications experience
• Strong writing and analytics skills

Nice to have

• YouTube growth and monetization experience.
