About the Graduate Trainee Program

The AP Graduate Trainee Programme is a dynamic early-career initiative created to nurture outstanding graduates and prepare them for leadership roles across the energy value chain.

Successful candidates will undergo structured learning, practical work experience, mentorship, and professional development designed to accelerate their growth and prepare them for long-term careers within the organization.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

• Possess a minimum of Second Class Upper (2:1) Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university
• Have a degree in any of the following disciplines:
  • Chemical Engineering
  • Petroleum Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Metallurgical Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Business-related courses
• Have a minimum of five (5) O’Level credits including Mathematics and English Language obtained in one sitting
• Have completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) with a valid discharge certificate
• Be willing to relocate to any location across Nigeria if required
